2. NATHALIA CALMON - ODIN THROUGH THE YGGDRASIL: A TAKE ON PLUTO IN AQUARIUS

This class will create an opportunity to muse about the resonances between this famous Norse Myth and the implications of the remarkable placement that we are already feeling and experiencing since 2023 - Pluto in Aquarius. The aim is to invite students to embark in a journey through the Yggdrasil in its many levels and characters; following Odin in his pursuit for the final prize of forth sight. The invitation is to witness the sacrifice of a god to his name - a god who gave is own life to dedicate to his own cause - which may be a little spooky, but, is also an invitation to reflect upon the Pluto movement of rebirth, in the name of a new Aquarian horizon. We are going to wonder about a being, who in a plutonic way, kills himself so to be reborn, and does it in a so Aquarius move of removing the self so to gain perspective. Is facing death that he gains the ability to see the future. And as we intend to show, in our chosen myth and in the Pluto in Aquarius placement, we can find a concept of a future rooted rebirth. As the journey through the Yggdrasil is not short, we hope to contemplate its many sceneries to help us find interesting relations between this myth and placement, and take their connections between the story, characters, planets, signs and beyond.
Nathalia Calmon is carioca - born in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It was in Rio that she fell in love with Astrology and Tarot when a teenager. She graduated and got a Master's degree in Literature. Astrology became a real serious subject of research when she was preparing for her PhD in Literature. Maria became a self-taught Astrologer, and she specializes in Greek Mythology.
